Tool Solver

NOTE: This topic is only applicable to the following Robotics OLP products: 

• Visual Components Premium OLP
• Visual Components Professional OLP
• Visual Components Robotics OLP

Tool solver adjusts the tool angles and offsets automatically to avoid collisions between tooling and the workpiece while keeping the path in Full-Modify mode. Solver changes the angle and offset settings on Adjust tab while solving the paths.

Tool solver will check the Tool Collider component from robot Settings for the collision checks, if there is no component selected, the solver will try to guess the tool component from components attached to robot Flange node.

To use the solver, set up the collider component and press the solver button in the Path setup window.
