Creating a New Property

A property is a variable of a component that can be referenced by other objects in that component. Properties of this scope are contained in the root node of a component.

1. Either create or select a component in the 3D world.
2. On the MODELING tab, in the Property group, click the Property arrow, and then click the type of property you want to create in the component.
