Software Rendering

Visual Components users attempting to access their software via a remote connection may experience rendering issues in their 3D world view. Software Rendering offers a solution to these potential rendering issues.

Requirements

  • Remote desktop connection using Microsoft Remote Desktop.
  • The Software Rendering feature is available only for users with a Network License, that is either connected to the server or borrowed.
  • If you are not using the required license type, the option does not appear in the software.
  • This option is a fallback should you experience 3D world rendering issues while using a remote connection. So enabling this option during regular software use is not recommended.

Activating Software Rendering

  1. Select the File tab, and then select Options.
  2. Then select Display, and enable Software Rendering.
  3. Then restart your software.
